hydrosolutions and Kazakh Hydromet Collaborate on Modern Hydrology Forecasting for Central Asia

As part of the SAPPHIRE Central Asia Project, hydrosolutions GmbH signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kazakh Hydromet in June 2025. It enables the integration of the operational hydrology digital assistant, iEasyHydro HF, and the SAPPHIRE forecasting tools into the agency's operational workflows. In the coming months, we are working closely with our KAZ colleagues to provide state-of-the-art discharge predictions across Kazakhstan, utilising deep learning techniques among other technologies.

Together with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, we will ultimately roll out these improved forecast services across more than 400 river basins in Central Asia.
