Tobias Siegfried

Dr. Tobias Siegfried holds a PhD in non-cooperative transboundary groundwater use. He was Associate Research Scientist at the Earth Institute and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of International and Public Affairs, both at Columbia University, USA. His expertise is in mathematical modeling of coupled systems models. He is one of the leaders behind the iMoMo Project.

Haijing Wang

Dr. Haijing Wang studied environmental engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, and environmental hydraulics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her technical expertise covers regional water management, remote sensing for water demand and consumption modeling and wastewater disposal modeling. She focuses on problems where resources scarcity is not only directly affecting local livelihoods but also constraining a sound development of the overall economy.

Beatrice Marti

Dr. Beatrice Marti conceptualizes and implements groundwater models for water balance modelling and scenario analysis. She is further responsible for the application of data assimilation techniques for water resources modeling (real-time water resources modelling). Her interests are in water resources management under water scarcity. She has a PhD in real-time modeling and control of groundwater pumping systems from ETH Zurich.

Environmental Engineer,

Silvan Ragettli

Dr. Silvan Ragettli studied environmental engineering at ETH Lausanne and completed a PhD at ETH Zurich. The focus of his dissertation was on modeling the climate change impact on the hydrology of mountainous catchments. He is an expert in runoff and flood prediction, and has interests in modeling glacier and snow cover changes and associated impacts on water resources.

Environmental Engineer,

Robert Naudascher

Robert Naudascher studies environmental engineering at ETH Zurich. Robert's experience ranges from research in turbulence to solving drinking water supply problems in the development context. He is also an avid violin player.

Environmental Engineer,

Tabea Donauer

Tabea Donauer studies environmental engineering at ETH Zürich. She works on remote sensing techniques for hydrological modelling. She is an avid fan of the Google Earth Engine platform and traveller in the Central Asian region.
